I read a column in The Greenville News on January 31, 1992 entitled "We Never Really Leave High School." I cut it out and saved it intending to use it for an occasion just like this. The writer talked about that "curiously exclusive connection" classmates have because we "shared some immense imprinting moment together" and "cared about the same things at the same time." She ended her column with this thought - "School may be over, but the class - well, that goes on forever." It really does. It's a relationship that we will always have with each other.
